Deals in Kiflo represent qualified sales opportunities — prospects that have been vetted and are actively being pursued toward a close. Where a lead is an early-stage signal of interest, a deal is a structured record with an expected close date, deal amount, client information, and a position in your pipeline. Partners register deals directly from their portal, and you review, approve, and track them through to close.

Deals vs. leads

You can convert an accepted lead into a deal at any time. If your lead and contact properties share the same internal field names, Kiflo copies the values across automatically.

The deal lifecycle

Once you approve a deal you can set an optional expiration date. If the deal is not closed by that date, both you and the partner receive a reminder — and eventually an expiration notification — so nothing slips through.

Key features

Deal approval workflow

When a partner registers a deal, it lands in your queue as Pending. You (or the deal’s assigned owner) review the details and click Approve or Decline. Three validation strategies are available: anyone on your team can validate, only the deal owner can validate, or deals are auto-approved with no validation required.

Channel conflict detection

Enable channel conflict detection in Account Settings to have Kiflo automatically flag any deal whose client email domain matches an existing deal, lead, or customer. This protects partners from competing with each other — or with your direct sales team — on the same account.

Deal expiration

Grant partners time-limited exclusivity on their registered deals. Set a default expiration window and reminder period in Account Settings. When you approve a deal you can override the default dates. If a deal expires, you can postpone it directly from the deal detail page.

Notes and tasks

Every deal has a full activity area where you and your team can write notes, @mention colleagues, comment on notes, and create tasks. Notes can be marked as visible to partners or kept internal.

Line items

On the Scale plan, you can attach line items to deals — individual products with quantities and prices drawn from your product catalog. You can enable line items per partner program, allowing resellers to select products during deal registration while controlling whether they see prices.
