# How can I customize the partner dashboard?

You may want to customize the partner dashboard, as each partner type is unique.

For example, you may want to display widgets about the “Latest submitted leads” for referral partners, the “Latest registered deals” for resellers, and the “Referral links” for affiliate partners.

First, you'll have to open the partner dashboards page. To do so, follow these steps:

* Click **Manage** from the main menu
* Select **Partner Dashboards**

## Edit the default partner dashboard

Partners will always have one default dashboard that is automatically displayed if no other dashboards are defined.

The default dashboard will have the “default” tag.

### Remove an existing widget

To remove an existing widget, move your mouse around the widget and you will find the option to remove the widget from the dashboard.

### Add a new widget

To add a widget, click **Add widget**. This will open the widget library.

Once you have found a useful widget, click on **Add to dashboard** to add the widget to the dashboard.

The widget will be added at the bottom of the dashboard.

### Rearrange widgets

You can rearrange the widgets by moving them around with your mouse.

Once you are satisfied with the changes you have made to the dashboard, click **Save**.

## Create a new dashboard

You can create different dashboards that will be shown to partners within partner program levels. If no dashboard exists for the partner’s program, the default dashboard will be used.

* To create a dashboard, click on **New dashboard**
* Name your new dashboard
* Press **Add**
* Customize the Partner Dashboard layout as explained above
* Click **Save**

If you want to display this dashboard for partners in a specific partner program:

* Click on “**Associations**” in the left section
* Select the partner program tiers
* Click **Save**

## Get a Preview of the Partner Dashboard

Once you have made changes to partner dashboards, you may want to preview what the partner will see when they open the dashboard.

* Click on the **Preview data as** button.
* Select a partner used to preview data.
