# Set Up and Customize Partner Portal Branding Today

> Upload your logo, add a sign-in background image, and configure a custom domain to make the Kiflo partner portal reflect your brand.

Customizing your partner portal's branding creates a seamless, professional experience for your partners from the moment they land on the sign-in page. You can upload your company logos in multiple formats, set a background image for the portal login screen, and configure a custom subdomain so your partners always see your brand — not Kiflo's.

## Set Up Your Branding

<Steps>
  <Step title="Open Account Settings">
    Click the menu in the **top-right corner** of your Kiflo admin portal, then select **Account Settings**.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Go to the Partner Portal Page">
    In Account Settings, navigate to the **Partner Portal** tab. This is where all branding options are located.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Upload Your Rectangular Logo">
    Upload your company's **rectangular logo** — the wide-format version typically used in headers and navigation bars. This logo appears inside the partner portal once partners are logged in.

    <Tip>
      Use PNG format if your logo has a transparent background. Keep the file size small so the portal loads quickly for your partners.
    </Tip>
  </Step>

  <Step title="Upload Your Square Logo">
    Upload your company's **square logo** — the compact version used in favicons, smaller UI spaces, and mobile views. Having both formats ensures your brand looks polished across all contexts.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Upload a Portal Background Image">
    Upload a **background image** for the partner portal sign-in page. This is the first visual your partners see before they log in, so choose an image that represents your brand well.

    <Note>
      If your background image requires transparency effects, save it in **PNG format**. For photographs or rich imagery, JPG is fine and will keep file sizes smaller for faster load times.
    </Note>
  </Step>

  <Step title="Preview Your Changes">
    After uploading your images, click the **preview link** in the header of the Partner Portal settings page. This opens a live preview of what your partners will see, letting you confirm logos and the background image all look correct before partners access the portal.
  </Step>
</Steps>

## File Format Recommendations

| Asset             | Recommended Format | Notes                                           |
| ----------------- | ------------------ | ----------------------------------------------- |
| Rectangular logo | PNG | Use PNG for transparency support |
| Square logo | PNG | Use PNG for transparency support |
| Portal background | PNG or JPG | PNG for transparency; JPG for smaller file size |

<Warning>
  Avoid uploading very large image files. Oversized images slow down the partner portal sign-in experience. Compress images before uploading whenever possible.
</Warning>

## Custom Portal Domain

A custom subdomain gives your partners a branded URL (for example, `partners.yourcompany.com`) instead of a default Kiflo address. Contact your Kiflo account team or check your Account Settings for the domain configuration option.

<Tip>
  After making branding changes, always use the preview link to verify how the portal looks before notifying partners. Small mismatches in logo dimensions or background contrast are easy to catch at the preview stage.
