# How to share asset links with partners?

There might be instances where you may want to share a particular asset with a partner. For instance, to include an asset in an email template. To do so, you’ll need to get the asset’s share link. We will show you how to get started!

{% hint style="info" %}
**📢 Important notice**

As a channel manager, don’t copy-paste the URL when sharing an asset. Partners use a different domain to access their partner portal, so they won’t be able to access the asset if you do so.

Thus, you'll need to follow the instructions in this article.
{% endhint %}

## How to get an asset share link?

To get the asset share link that you will share with partners, go to the **Assets** page. Once there you will have two options:

* Using the shortcut
* Opening the asset

### Using the shortcut

Move the cursor next to the title of the asset where a button will appear to find the option to **Copy share link:**

This will copy the link to your clipboard, and you can send it directly to the partner.

### Opening the asset

Open the asset's page. On the top right section, you will find the **Copy share link** option, which will be copied to your clipboard, allowing you to share the link with your partners

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs-vnext.kiflo.com/partner-enablement/assets/share-asset-links-with-partners.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
