# How to start onboarding partners?

This page describes how to onboard a partner in an existing onboarding pipeline. If you haven't created an onboarding pipeline yet, please refer to [How to manage onboarding pipelines?](/manage-partners/onboarding/how-to-manage-onboarding-pipelines.md)

## From the kanban board

In order to start onboarding a partner:

* Open the **Partners onboarding** page (see: [How to view partner onboarding?](/manage-partners/onboarding/how-to-view-partner-onboarding.md))
* Select the pipeline you want to onboard the partner into using the top-right dropdown
* Click the **Start onboarding** button

Search for the partner you want to onboard:

And finally, click the **Start** button. The partner is automatically added to the first stage.

## From the partner's page

You can also onboarding partner directly from the partner's page:

* Open the partner's page
* Click on the **Onboarding** Tab
* Click on the **Start onboarding** button

Finally:

* Select the onboarding pipeline the partner must follow
* And press the **Start** button

The partner is automatically added to the first stage.
