# How to replicate one business plan for many partners?

It is possible to *duplicate* one business plan with all its objectives for multiple partners at once.

**Example**

Let's say you have a *Gold* level in a *Referral partners* program. And all *Gold* partners are required to generate at least $10k of revenue annually. You can create one business plan for one partner at that level, define all your objectives and once you're done, **duplicate this business for all partners at the same level.**

## Access the Duplicate feature

From the *Business Plans* listing page:

* Select one business plan you want to clone
* Click the **Duplicate** context button

From the Business Plan's page:

* Open the Business Plan's page
* Click the **Actions** menu
* Select **Duplicate**

## Duplicate options

### Step 1: Duplicate for partner(s)

The first step is to select the partners for whom you'd like to duplicate the business plan. You have 3 filters available, each of them combined with an *AND:*

* **Partner(s)**: Select one or many individual partners
* **Program(s)**: Select one of many program levels. All partners in the selected levels are selected.
* **Group(s)**: Select one of many groups. All partners in the selected groups are selected.

**How to combine filters?**

You can use only one filter or all of them. If you select 1 partner, 2 levels, and 1 group, the business plan is duplicated for all partners in the selected levels *AND* the selected group *AND* the selected individual partner.

If the same partner is part of the selected group and selected level, only one business plan is created for this partner.

You can explicitly exclude the business plan's current partner to avoid having two business plans for the same partner.

**When to use this option?**

Toggle on this option if you created one *template* business plan on one partner and want to replicate it for other partners at the same level.

Toggle off this option if you created one template business plan on a test partner and now need to replicate it for your actual partners.

### Step 2: New business plan(s)

Configure the new business plans' properties:

* Name
* Description
* Start date
* End date

Those properties will be the same for all created business plans.

You can insert the name of each partner into the corresponding business plan name using the placeholder {{partnerName}}.

Finally, click the **Duplicate** button.
