# How to customize deal cards?

It is possible to choose which properties are visible on deal cards in the deal pipeline. This helps you keep track of important information on deals like MRR, deal type, or expected close date.

## Default cards

By default, deal cards look like this:

You'll find the following information:

1. Deal name (in blue)
2. List of customizable properties (in green)
3. Deal status (in red)
4. List of partners assigned to the deal (in purple)

## Customize visible properties

To customize visible properties:

* Click on the top-right menu
* Go to the **Account** page
* Select **Deals**
* Scroll to the section "**Deal cards**"

Click the "**Add property"** button and select a property to display. You can also re-order or remove visible properties:

{% hint style="info" %}
**Listed Properties**

Only deal properties are listed on the "Add property" menu. You can customize deal properties following this article: [How to customize properties?](/account-settings/properties/customize-properties.md)
{% endhint %}

{% hint style="warning" %}
**Wait, I've added a property and it's not visible on the deal cards**

If a property is empty (no value) on a given deal it won't be displayed on the corresponding deal card, even if the property is selected to be visible on the card.
{% endhint %}

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs-vnext.kiflo.com/leads-deals/deal-pipeline/how-to-customize-deal-cards.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
