## Workflow description <a href="#workflow-description" id="workflow-description"></a>

A workflow performs a sequence of actions whenever it is triggered. For instance, whenever a partner accepts an invitation, you might create a trigger to send them a welcome email.

## Creating a Workflow <a href="#creating-a-workflow" id="creating-a-workflow"></a>

To create a workflow, follow the steps below:

* Go to **Manage, Workflows**, and create a **New Workflow**
* **Name** the Workflow and click **Add**
* Click on **Choose Trigger**, select the **Trigger**

You can choose, for example, the following triggers: [*Partner invitation status changed*](/automation/triggers/workflow-trigger-partner-invitation-status-changed.md)

* Select **Trigger Options** which will depend on the triggers you selected, as they will be what will trigger a workflow

You can choose, for example, the following trigger option to start a sequence of actions when a partner team member invitation is sent: Pending or Sent

* Choose whether you want to configure [Re-enrollment settings](/automation/triggers/workflow-trigger-re-enrollment-settings.md)
* Click **Confirm**

## Select an action <a href="#select-an-action" id="select-an-action"></a>

To select an action for workflows on a workflow, follow these steps:

* Click on the plus button to add a new action
* Select the action, such as [Delay](/automation/actions/workflow-action-delay.md), [Send email](/automation/actions/workflow-action-send-email.md), or [Create Task](/automation/actions/workflow-action-create-task.md)
* Once done, click **Confirm** and click **Save**

## Choose an end condition <a href="#choose-an-end-condition" id="choose-an-end-condition"></a>

* Specify the conditions that will stop the workflow

You can choose, for example, Partner team member accepted invitation. When a partner team member has accepted the invitation, the workflow will stop, and the entity will be unenrolled.

* Once you have selected the end condition, press **Enable** to enable the workflow

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs-vnext.kiflo.com/automation/workflow-examples-step-by-step-guide.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
